Fabrication Shift Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Control Panel Design & Development**:

- Work closely with design and engineering teams to develop control panel layouts and schematics.
- Prepare detailed specifications for the control panels based on customer requirements and technical needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (such as IEC, UL, or local regulatory standards) during design and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D to incorporate improvements or modifications to the control panel design.
- **Production Management**:

- Oversee the production of control panels, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that required materials and components are available for production.
- Supervise the assembly process to ensure the correct installation of electrical components, wiring, and connections.
- Monitor and ensure that quality standards are consistently met throughout the production process.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in the production area.
- **Testing & Commissioning**:

- Perform electrical testing of control panels, including functional, load, and safety tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the testing phase, such as wiring problems or equipment failures.
- Ensure that all control panels are fully functional and meet operational requirements before shipment or installation.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on the control panels, ensuring they meet internal and external standards.
- Implement corrective actions for any production or design issues that affect quality.
- Maintain documentation of quality tests, production logs, and reports.
- Identify and suggest improvements for the control panel design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- **Technical Support**:

- Assist in the training of technicians on the proper operation and maintenance of control panels.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Continuously analyze production processes to find opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and innovation in control panel manufacturing.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- **Collaboration & Reporting**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, designers, and production staff, to streamline production workflows.
- Prepare regular production status reports for management, highlighting progress, challenges, and timelines.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components for production.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in control panel design or production, preferably in the genset or power generation industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and generators.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations (such as IEC, UL, or IS standards).
- Proficient in using electrical design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
