Procurement - Operational Buyer

Requisition ID: 40481- Job Location(s): Bangalore, INDanfoss Bock is looking for a Procurement Operational Buyer, who will be responsible for managing the suppliers under Contract Manufacturing operations.
In this role you will become part of a global organization within the Danfoss Climate Solutions, and it will be based out of Bommasandra, Bengaluru Plant, India.

The Operational Buyer focuses on executing sourcing strategies provided by Category Management, ensuring efficient supplier management. They proactively handle forecasts and purchase orders, aligning with the SIOP process to improve cost, quality, and delivery. Additionally, they manage inventory levels to meet targets and optimize storage capacity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute on Category Management sourcing strategy
- Ensuring the material availability including the responsibility for 1st level in escalation process
- Start and execute lead-time reduction and MOQ changes that improve cost, quality and delivery from suppliers
- Proactive forecasting for Suppliers based on alignment with Category management
- Proactive order handling PO/NPO
- Inventory management incl. initiation of measures to achieve our target value of goods (incl. storage capacity)
- Communicate with suppliers, internal customers, management and stakeholders about progress, risks and roadblocks in running projects

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor degree (preferably in Engineering) with 5 to 7 years of experience in Procurement, preferably from strategic perspective
- Experience in negotiation and excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Positive and open-minded attitude with solid communication skills in English
- Dedicated, goal-oriented and thrive on working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Hands on experience in SAP Hana, SAP BI and reporting tools.
