**Job Description - Export Pricing Desk Executive**
**Location : Vashi**
**Experience : 3-4 Years**
- **Communication with Local Shipping Lines, Co-Loaders, NVOCCs & Airlines**: Establish and maintain good relationships with local shipping lines, co-loaders, NVOCCs, and airlines to secure competitive rates for export shipments.
- **Commercial Visits**: Conduct regular visits to local shipping lines, co-loaders, and NVOCCs, or invite their representatives to visit our office to negotiate better rates based on shipment volumes.
- **Shipment Distribution**: Ensure that export shipments/containers are evenly distributed among shipping lines based on their sector specialization, service capacity, and ability to manage them effectively.
- **Inquiry Management**: Maintain an up-to-date inquiry sheet with the status of each shipment, including shipment details, issues, or any changes.
- **Corporate Customer Prioritization**: Prioritize corporate customers and urgent shipments by allocating them to core shipping lines.
- **Communication Standard**: Maintain professionalism, politeness, and courtesy when interacting with shipping lines, co-loaders, and NVOCCs & Air Lines.
- **Tracking Lost Inquiries**: Regularly update and monitor lost shipment inquiries in the "Enquiries Lost" report. Seek assistance from Manager or the Export Sales Team when necessary.
- **Agent Development**: Identify and establish relationships with new agents that align with nomination business needs. Focus on strategic regions with frequent shipments or where current agents are underperforming. Coordinate with existing overseas agents to secure nominations and free-hand shipments.
- **Special Equipment Allocation**: Assign special equipment (e.g., FR, OT, RF) to S/line or partners specializing in handling project cargo or special equipment.
- **Agent Verification**: Verify the WCA membership and ensure the WCA ID is valid for any new agent before onboarding. Use the WCA website for validation.
