Job Description / Accountabilities: To be knowledgeable about the program(s) for which students are advising. To either assist in career planning or to refer to campus resources for such assistance. Educating students and parents about the University, the university admissions process, trends, procedures, and testing; advising and supporting classes of 30-50 seniors and families as they go through the process; and helping students and families aspire realistically and choose wisely. To be familiar with published academic rules and regulations of the University and to maintain an up-to-date academic advising reference file containing current program area, college, and University materials pertinent to advising. Face To Face Counselling. Tele-Counselling. Online / Chat Counselling Making regular follow up with students using an appropriate combination of face-to-face more of the above points on a regular and developing basis. Calling on the data assigned. Maintain the record of each and every student in CRM. Keeping track of admission decisions, statistics, and making a daily report. Assisting students with the planning of short-term and long-term targets for development. Proactively monitoring both academic performance and student engagement and advising on constructive strategies for improvement as necessary. To plan & help in organizing events, seminars, counseling sessions, workshops etc. in the campus. To attend high school, college fairs, campus tours & other community events for counseling, promotion & data collection activities. (Minimum four per month) To Organize & deliver seminars in schools, colleges and educational institutes for creating awareness about the University. To conduct Face to Face counselling sessions in the campus. To organise/conduct campus tours for students and parents visiting the University. Data Generation from different online as well offline sources. Skill Set / Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in University admissions or college counseling is must. Necessary skills include excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational ability and the ability to meet deadlines. Travelling to anywhere in India is mandatory. Teaching experience & Computer skills are preferable. Listening skills. Counsellor to be proactive in communicating with their students and to escalate such efforts as required. Sensitivity and empathy. Patience and a calm manner. Ability to cope with emotional situations. Ability to relate to a wide range of people. Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year Schedule: - Day shift Work Location: In person
