**Job description**

This position is responsible for the procurement & warehouse officer of agri commodities to end-farmer, to perform sourcing, ensuring quality of sourcing and procure, customer satisfaction, opportunity, and risk assessment.

**Role & responsibilities**:
1. Form and execute strategies for positioning, buying, and selling in agri commodities.

2. Perform market analysis and interpret global trade flows and commodity supply/demand.

3. Monitor and interpret the macro-trends of financial markets and the economy that can impact respective commodity prices in the short, medium, and long term.

4. Negotiate the purchase and/or sale of assigned commodities.

5. Advise and recommend trading strategies, assesses risk pertaining to buying and selling and negotiate contract terms with clients.

6. Liaise with transport, shipping, and insurance companies.

7. Assist in development of the annual business plan, budget, and forecast.

8. Keep track of the results and suggest corrective action plans.

9. Other duties as assigned.

10. Knowledge about warehousing management

**Education, Certifications or Experience Required**:

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Agri/ MBA/ABM or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of related experience in Agricultural commodity trading industry (in agri commodities is a must).
- Substantial knowledge of warehousing management and market conditions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, business, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an procurement in agri commodities environment and successful customer service experience.
- Ability to solve challenging problems, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work with mínimal direction.
