A Structural Steel Detailer is responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for the fabrication and erection of steel structures. This includes interpreting architectural and engineering plans and translating them into detailed steel fabrication drawings, ensuring they comply with building codes, project specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Detailing:
Prepare detailed shop drawings for structural steel fabrication, including dimensions, material specifications, and other related details.

Create erection drawings that provide instructions for assembling steel components at the construction site.

Work with engineers and architects to clarify design details and resolve issues that arise during the detailing process.

Project Deadlines:
Meet project deadlines while ensuring the accuracy and quality of all deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, SDS/2, or similar software).

Strong understanding of structural steel design, fabrication processes, and erection techniques.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and steel construction practices (AISC, AWS, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing production.

Strong communication skills to work effectively with engineers, architects, and fabricators.

A degree or diploma in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience in structural steel detailing is preferred.Create erection drawings with clear instructions for assembling structural steel components at construction sites.

Develop accurate 3D models using Tekla or SDS2, based on structural and architectural plans.

Work Environment:
Office-based work with occasional site visits to coordinate and verify details with contractors and fabricators.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
