Key Responsibilities:

- **Customer Interaction**:Greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders (including dietary restrictions and allergies), offering recommendations, and providing excellent service.
- **Food and Beverage Service**:Serving food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation, and checking on guests during their meal.
- **Order Management**:Using POS systems or other methods to accurately record orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
- **Payment Handling**:Delivering bills, processing payments (cash or card), and handling any necessary change.
- **Table Maintenance**:Setting tables, clearing used dishes and glasses, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- **Problem Solving**:Addressing any issues or complaints from customers, finding solutions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- **Teamwork**:Cooperating with kitchen staff, other servers, and restaurant management to ensure smooth service.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:Following health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and maintaining a clean environment.
- **Upselling**:Suggesting additional items or specials to increase sales.
