As an Admission Counsellor at Chandigarh University, you will be responsible for:

Individualized Student Support**: Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students, helping them explore their academic interests and career goals, and aligning their aspirations with the appropriate programs offered by Chandigarh University. You will evaluate students' academic backgrounds, aptitude, and skills to determine the most suitable programs for them.
**5. Relationship Building**: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with schools, educational consultants, and other external stakeholders. You will organize and participate in events such as college fairs, seminars, and webinars to attract potential students and promote Chandigarh University as an attractive educational destination.
**6. Record Maintenance**: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of student records, interaction logs, and admission-related data using the university's CRM system. You will maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.
**Qualifications**:
To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:
**1. Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in any discipline, although a degree in counseling, education, or a related field will be advantageous.
**2. Exceptional Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with active listening skills. Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi will be beneficial.
**3. Counseling Expertise**: Prior experience in student counseling, preferably in an educational institution, is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to empathize, counsel, and guide students from diverse backgrounds will be advantageous.
**4. Technological Proficiency**: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems for record-keeping, data analysis, and report generation.
**5. Interpersonal Skills**: Demonstrated ability to build rapport, resolve conflicts, and work effectively as part of a team. Possessing a positive attitude, openness, and flexibility is essential for success in this role.
