**Job Summary**:
The F&B Captain is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage service area. They ensure that the guests receive high-quality service, assist in managing a team of waitstaff, and provide leadership to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Service**:

- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist guests with menu selections, special requests, and offer suggestions to enhance their dining experience.
- Ensure that any guest complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and attention to detail.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and lead a team of servers and other F&B staff.
- Ensure that the team is well-trained in service standards, product knowledge, and restaurant procedures.
- Conduct briefings before service, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and guidance where necessary.
- **Order Management & Coordination**:

- Oversee the taking, preparation, and delivery of food and beverage orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure that orders are processed promptly and correctly, and that special requests are properly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Monitor and ensure proper service flow during peak hours.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor the quality and presentation of food and drinks being served to guests.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all table settings are correctly arranged, and service equipment is properly maintained.
- **Inventory & Stock Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and service items.
- Communicate with management regarding inventory needs, ordering supplies, and handling stock.
- **Operational Efficiency**:

- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
- Ensure that service stations are stocked, clean, and organized during service.
- **Upselling & Revenue Generation**:

- Promote additional food and beverage sales by recommending menu items, specials, and wine pairings.
- Encourage guests to order desserts, drinks, and additional courses.
- **Training & Development**:

- Train new staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Prepare reports on daily operations, guest feedback, and any challenges encountered during service.
- Handle cash and billing processes, ensuring all transactions are accurate.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in hospitality management is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in food and beverage service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of food, beverages, and hospitality industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other restaurant management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:
