Taxi Driver duties and responsibilities

The primary responsibility of a Taxi Driver is to get passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible while maintaining safety. To accomplish this goal, they may perform the following duties, which you can list in your job description for Taxi Driver positions:

- Responding to dispatch requests to pick up passengers
- Waiting for passengers outside key buildings, such as hotels or airports, or driving through metropolitan areas to find passengers in real time
- Greeting passengers and helping load and unload luggage
- Determining the quickest route to take to a destination
- Answering questions about local attractions, restaurants and other topics
- Collecting payment from passengers and making change as needed
- Inspecting the cab before and after shifts, ensuring the vehicle meets safety standards
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations related to taxi cab operation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Yearly bonus
