Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Design Development**: Create seasonal collections, including sketches, mood boards, and fabric swatches, ensuring designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and current market trends.
- **Fabric and Materials**: Focus on linen and other sustainable fabrics, selecting and sourcing materials that are both eco-friendly and of the highest quality.
- **Technical Design**: Collaborate with the production team to ensure technical specifications, fit, and construction meet brand standards. Oversee the development of tech packs and work closely with pattern makers and sample makers.
- **Trend Research**: Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, têxtile innovations, and sustainable fashion practices to inspire new designs.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure designs align with customer expectations and meet production timelines.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure the finished product meets high-quality standards and aligns with the brand’s vision and values.
- **Sustainability Focus**: Contribute to the brand’s commitment to sustainability by researching and integrating eco-friendly design and production practices into your work.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 6+ years of experience in fashion design, particularly with linen or sustainable fashion. Experience in a similar brand or product category is a plus.
- **Education**: Degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- **Creative Skills**: Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and previous work, particularly with linen or other natural fabrics.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D) and a solid understanding of garment construction and pattern making.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with fabric sourcing, têxtile processes, and garment production techniques, especially related to linen and sustainable materials.
- **Passion for Sustainability**: A genuine passion for eco-friendly fashion practices and sustainability within the fashion industry.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: An exceptional eye for detail in design, fabric selection, and garment finish.

Pay: From ₹33,000.00 per month
