**Job Discription: General Duty Assistant (GDA)Job Summary**:
The General Duty Assistant (GDA) plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. The GDA assists with daily living activities, ensures patient comfort, and maintains a clean and safe environment within healthcare facilities. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, enhancing their overall well-being.
- **Assisting Healthcare Staff**:

- Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in carrying out their duties.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms and ensure that necessary supplies are stocked.
- Assist in transporting patients within the healthcare facility.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by following infection control protocols.
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting patient areas and equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the healthcare setting.
- **Documentation**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation as required.
- Document daily activities, observations, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare policies.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide patients and families with information regarding daily routines and activities.
- **Training and Development**:

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Stay updated on best practices in patient care and safety procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized GDA training program or equivalent experience preferred.
- **Certification**:

- Certification as a General Duty Assistant or a similar role may be required or preferred, depending on local regulations.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting is preferred but not always necessary.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
