**Salary**: 12 Lakhs

**Job Summary**: The IBM Db2 Database Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 Database systems. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, security, and integrity of the database systems to support the organization's data-related needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Database Administration**: Manage and administer IBM Db2 Database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- **Performance Tuning**: Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient query execution and response times.
- **Security**: Implement and maintain database security measures, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
- **Backup and Recovery**: Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure mínimal downtime in case of failures.
- **Capacity Planning**: Estimate future data growth and plan for database capacity and scalability.
- **Data Migration**: Manage data migration activities, including data import/export and data transformation.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve database-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure seamless database integration.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that the database environment complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IBM Db2 Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in IBM Db2 Database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Strong SQL and scripting skills for automation and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and encryption techniques.
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures.
- Familiarity with database design and modeling concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- IBM Db2 Database certification (optional but preferred).

**Additional Information**:

- This is a full-time position.
- Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required.

**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
