1. To follow the instructions of Executive/Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager-Production and carry out shift production activities as per the plan.

2. Maintains the Logbook as per shift activities.

3. Ensures all the raw materials are available on time for the batches planned and all the required batch sheets are made available.

4. Shall be responsible for making entries in all batch records and other Production related documents and ensure that the recordings are done as and when the operations are completed

5. Coordinates with Engineering department for the completion of maintenance jobs on time and coordinates with QC on in-process and finished product analysis.

6. Shall follow the GMP and Safety norms in the plant.

7. Shall follow the relevant Standard Operating Procedure at various stages of operation.

8. Attending EHS training program.

9. Shall co-ordinate Production Assistant in maintaining stipulated parameters (like temperature, pH, pressure etc.) during the batch processing.

10. Shall record any abnormality or deviations observed during the processing.

11. Shall maintain Good House Keeping in plant and cleanliness of the equipment.

12. Preparing the instructions (BPCR, BCLR, Check lists etc.) to produce intermediates or APIs according to written procedures.

13. Producing APIs new and, when appropriate, intermediates according to pre-approved instructions.

14. To ensure that production facilities are clean and when appropriate disinfected.

15. To ensure that the necessary calibrations are performed, and records kept.

16. To ensure that the premises and equipment are maintained, and records kept.

17. To verify the environmental conditions of the controlled area.

18. To have performance control over the contract workmen.

19. To verify the contract worker’s health, hygiene conditions for working in controlled areas.

20. To allocate the task to the casuals and have performance control.

21. Shall be responsible for making all ERP entries online.

22. Investigation of OOS, OOT, customer complaint, and marketing complaint related to the product performance and initiation of deviation, change control and necessary document.

23. Responsible for handling any other tasks, other than above, assigned by superiors.

24. To follow the safe practice mentioned in various SOP’s for operation.

25. In the absence of reporting person, he will take responsibility of activities.

26. Responsible for handling any other tasks, other than above, assigned by Asst. Manager - Production and above.
