- BE FLM where the individual need to design, develop, implement, and support mathematical, statistical, machine learning models and automation tools to aid business decision-making across various functions of Treasury. To be successful in this role, you should have,
- Proficient user of Excel.
- Strong SQL and Python knowledge.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense, Spotfire or Tableau.
- Proficient systems skills essential, including efficient management of large and disparate data sets, advance financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with database analytics tools such as Hypercube.
- Ability to produce clear and concise analysis for Executive and Non-Executive Management.

Some other highly valued skills may include,
- Relevant experience in Treasury Funding and Liquidity Management or related areas.
- Knowledge of liquidity regulatory metric calculation methodologies and impact of business products.
- Understanding of or interest in financial markets and products (derivative instruments).
- Impact and influencing skills. Demonstrable ability to distil complex topics, convey multi-faceted concepts clearly for non-experts and to focus on outcomes and commercial results.
- Educated to university degree level.

**Purpose of the role**

**Accountabilities**
- Technical and business process change business cases for Treasury and Finance MTPs and transformation, defining outcomes, benefits and participating in change lifecycle requirements like detailed business cases, business readiness plans and delivered risk assessments.
- Quantitative and data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights from large datasets, identifying patterns, trends and anomalies that may indicate potential risks and errors, investigating and analysing data issues, work collaboratively with Quantitative Analyst and IT teams to address complex valuation problems.
- Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources. Gather business requirements to define report content, develop prototype reports and on-board with IT teams for automated data acquisition, workflows and report generation processes providing improved efficiency and timeliness.
- Tactical implementation of resource management methodologies to assess the bank's resilience under various economic shocks, evaluate the impact of market shocks and credit risk events on the bank's funding profile, financial position and regulatory capital adequacy.
