- CRDN is leader in the restoration/insurance industry
- Under the CRDN franchise we do fire, water, wind, and mold claims.
- Specifically, we serve homeowners and businesses that have damage to clothing, curtains, rugs, taxidermy, electronics, artwork and all other contents
- We get a call, go to the client’s site, evaluate their needs, work with their insurance company, and schedule a pack-out of all the affected items.
- We then clean and restore the items and return based on the client’s schedule, usually 1-2 months

- This position has 4 primary aspects, 1) Marketing: You will meet and communicate with contractors and insurance adjusters to share our solutions and forge partnerships.
- 2) Loss management: You will first respond to a loss, perform a site inspection, and often meet with the homeowner and evaluate their needs.
- 3) Pack-outs: You will assist the team to inventory, bag and pack out the affected items at the loss site.
- 4) Administrative: You will communicate with our CRDN team, the homeowners, contractors, and adjusters to efficiently manage your losses.
- Marketing: You will have a list of several hundred contractors and adjusters you will be responsible to market.
- The territory covered is the Peterborough, Belleville and Kingston
- Hours are typically 8:30-5, with some evenings and weekends as clients need.
- Occasional overnights (*very rare)are necessary for distant marketing and packouts.

- Loss Management: You will “First Respond” to loss sites, often within hours of a loss or disaster.
- For many homeowners this is a catastrophic loss.
- You will need to have a calming effect and demonstrate empathy.
- You will be our eyes and ears on the job site and survey the loss.
- In many instances you will also be the eyes and ears for an insurance adjuster who will rely heavily on your observations.
- Your job will be to scope the loss and determine what is salvageable and what is a total loss.
- Your observations will be used by our pack out team and by the contractors we work with to provide a timely, efficient pack out of salvageable items.
- You will assist the homeowner in gathering immediate needs, which we clean and return in 48 hours, so they have clothing for work and school.
- You will work with our pack out team to provide direction as to priorities and items to be retrieved for restoration.
- You will often assist as a team member in collecting those items.
- Administrative: There is also an administrative aspect to this job.
- You will manage 10-15 jobs at a time (over a month).
- This will require you to organize and manage your jobs in an efficient way so that you can assure your clients get great service in a timely manner.

- Technology: This position relies heavily on technology.
- From Lead Management, to Client Management.
- Mastering your phone, tablet and laptop are critical elements of this job.
- You must be comfortable with technology, cell phones, tablets, laptops and GPS. We rely heavily on Outlook, Excel and OneNote for communication and organization.
- We communicate extensively with our clients via text.
- Driving: We provide a company vehicle.
- It is branded with our logos.
- It will be your calling card when you arrive at a loss or at a marketing appointment.
- You will need to keep your vehicle clean and organized so you can be responsive to client’s needs.
- Your vehicle will become your office on wheels as you will spend most of your day going to either losses or marketing appointments.
- Talk with customers, primarily face to face at their home or office
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations

- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers
- Keep emotions under control
- Marketing to Contractors and Insurance industry professionals
- Attend monthly regional marketing events, trade shows, golf events and happy hours.
- Some evenings and Saturdays are required
- Lead sponsorship of marketing events in the region
- Receive incoming assignments
- Promptly contact homeowner to schedule initial appointment and assessment
- Maintain communication with the homeowner, contractors, and adjusters through the restoration process, often over 2 to 6 months
- Record information into job folder
- Respond to management direction
- Attend area sales meetings
- Follow all correct procedures and guidelines
- Inventory and sorts items
