Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for FMCG products.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Prepare sales forecasts and set ambitious sales targets.

Distributor Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage a network of profitable retail distributors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to ensure optimal product placement and brand visibility.

Develop and execute distributor engagement programs to drive sales and achieve growth objectives.

Product Management:
Oversee new product launches within the General Trade channel.

Manage product promotions and marketing initiatives to stimulate sales growth and brand awareness.

Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock availability.

Team Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the General Trade team.

Develop and implement performance metrics to track sales effectiveness and distributor performance.

Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and team targets.

Financial Management:
Own and manage the P&L for the General Trade vertical, setting and achieving sales and profitability targets.

Analyze financial performance and suggest improvements to enhance profitability.

Operational Excellence:
Ensure adherence to business, financial, and compliance processes.

Drive IT adoption and manage debt collection effectively.

Market Intelligence:
Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: MBA from a premier institute preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the FMCG or consumer goods industry.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven decision-making, and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and other key stakeholders.
