**The collection job description should contain the following duties and responsibilities**:

- Identify/follow outstanding account receivables.
- Attending daily collection calls.
- Mailing to customers on SLA crossed payment.
- Investigate historical data for debts and bills.
- Take actions and visit customers to encourage timely payments.
- Travelling to different cities to follow-up payment.
- Resolve invoicing and POD related issues.
- Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments as per their terms.
- Update payment status records to the central team.
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress, weekly.
- Work on targets and should have the mindset to work hard to earn variables/incentives.

**The collection job description needs the following requirements and qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role.
- Good knowledge of billing procedures.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
- Comfortable working with targets.
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
