**Job Description - Junior Course Designer / Instructional Designer**

Location: Remote

Salary / Stipend: ₹5,000 - ₹3,00,000 per annum (based on skills and experience)

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a Junior Instructional Designer / Course Designer to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team. This is an exciting entry-level role for someone passionate about eLearning and course creation. You’ll assist in researching course topics, setting learning objectives, and designing engaging training materials using various tools. You’ll also explore innovative technologies like CogniSpark and gain exposure to industry best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research Course Topics: Research and identify reliable sources for the course topics assigned, ensuring the information is relevant, current, and comprehensive.
- Set Learning Objectives: Collaborate with designers to identify clear and measurable learning objectives for each course. Understand what learners should know or be able to do after completing the course.
- Course Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing course materials. This may include e-learning modules, videos, quizzes, and other multimedia content.
- Graphic Design Skills: Use design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar to create visually engaging course assets that enhance the learner experience.
- Learn and Implement eLearning Tools (CogniSpark): Learn to use CogniSpark (a learning and development platform). Set up a free trial, watch tutorials, and create sample courses using the platform.
- Exposure to L&D Practices: Gain insights into the responsibilities of L&D managers in large organizations such as Infosys and ICICI. Understand how corporate training is structured and delivered.
- Explore eLearning Platforms: Explore popular eLearning platforms like Udemy, Coursera, and others. Understand their strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback on the user experience.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with senior instructional designers and internal teams to customize course content to meet client or organizational requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of course content. Help review and edit materials to improve learner engagement and comprehension.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A fresher or recent graduate with a keen interest in Learning & Development (L&D) and digital learning.
- Basic knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theory.
- Familiarity with eLearning tools (such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong ability to research course topics and present them in a structured, clear format.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a learner's mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies, particularly in the eLearning domain.
- Experience (internships, college projects, etc.) in L&D or content creation is a bonus.

**Ideal Background**:

- Degree in Education, HR, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with eLearning platforms like Udemy, Coursera, or others.
- Experience in designing or developing content (even at a college level or through internships).
