**Salary Range **:25,000 to 30,000 **JoJob Summary**:
The Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Executive oversees and implements health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within the civil construction industry. They ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, identify and mitigate potential hazards, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Policy Development and Implementation:
2. Develop, review, and update health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

3. Implement policies across all construction sites, ensuring adherence by all personnel

**Regulatory Compliance**:
1. Stay abreast of local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the civil construction industry.

2. Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:
1. Conduct regular risk assessments of construction sites and activities to identify potential hazards.

2. Develop and implement measures to mitigate risks and hazards, including the provision of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training.Training and Education:

1. Organize and conduct health, safety, and environmental training sessions for construction personnel.

2. Promote awareness of safety and environmental issues through toolbox talks, seminars, and other communication channels.

**Incident Investigation and Reporting**:
1. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.

2. Maintain accurate records of all incidents and produce timely reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.

**Environmental Management**:
1. Develop and implement environmental management plans for construction projects, including waste management, pollution prevention, and conservation measures.

2. Monitor environmental performance and compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

**Emergency Preparedness**:
1. Develop and implement emergency response plans for construction sites, including procedures for evacuation, first aid, and incident management.

2. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental ScienceProfessional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.

Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the civil construction industry.

Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001).

**Working Conditions**:
The role may require regular travel to construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical hazards.

The HSE Executive may need to work irregular hours to accommodate the needs of construction projects and emergencies.
