**Responsibilities**:
MySQL as primary skill

MongoDB with AWS secondary skill set
- Experience Level: 3+ Years
- Manage and administer MySQL instances, including configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Design, implement, and maintain database backup, replication, and recovery strategies for MySQL databases.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and schema design for improved efficiency.
- Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, user management, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with development teams to assist in database design, schema changes, and query optimization.
- Perform database capacity planning and scaling to accommodate growth and ensure high availability.
- Manage and support MongoDB database instances, including installation, configuration, and monitoring.
- Design and implement MongoDB data models, indexes, and sharding strategies for optimal performance.
- Implement replication and high availability solutions, ensuring data redundancy and disaster recovery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Work with SRE team in supporting database deployments and handle database alerts
- Perform database tuning and optimization to improve query performance and overall system efficiency.
- Perform regular Audits on the database to maintain the standard security.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database administration, AWS, and MongoDB, and make recommendations for improvements to the existing database infrastructure.
- Knowledge on other databases(Redshift and Postgresql) and experience on AWS services (RDS, Aurora EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) are added advantage
