Salary **:12,000/- to 15,500/-**

- **Inputting data accurately**: Typically, these operators gather data from a source and input it accurately into the company's database. This usually includes creating digital records from paper, merging or updating databases and sorting information into the correct fields.
- **Verifying and reviewing databases**: Data entry operators also review existing data to check for errors or inconsistencies. For example, they ensure a uniform format for different data fields and correct spelling.
- **Implementing data security and management policies**: Organisations usually have robust data security and access policies to prevent misuse or theft of confidential business data. It is imperative for data entry operators who work directly with this information to follow the security protocols and best practices to ensure data safety, and secure access.
- **Responding to requests for data**: It is the duty of data entry operators to respond to specific data requests from different teams in the organisation, such as the sales or marketing departments. For example, if the marketing team requires details of all customers who did not renew their subscriptions the data team provides this information.
