Computer Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry & Maintenance**:

- Inputting data related to products, sales, customer orders, and inventory into relevant systems ERP, CRM base
- Updating records and ensuring all data is accurate and current.
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy across different datasets.
- **Inventory Tracking**:

- Maintaining records of stock levels, sales, and returns.
- Updating inventory databases after each order or delivery.
- Assisting in inventory audits by entering or reconciling stock counts.
- **Order Processing**:

- Entering customer orders into the system and ensuring proper documentation.
- Tracking the progress of orders through various stages processing, shipment, delivery
- Coordinating with logistics and other teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Generating reports for managers or team leads on product sales, inventory, and other key metrics.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of daily, weekly, or monthly data.
- **Error Checking & Validation**:

- Reviewing and cross-referencing entries to ensure no errors.
- Flagging discrepancies or issues with data and ensuring they are addressed.
- **Communication & Coordination**:

- Collaborating with other departments sales, procurement, warehouse to ensure accurate data is reflected across systems.
- Responding to queries regarding data from other teams or stakeholders.

**Required Skills**:

- **Attention to Detail**:

- Accuracy is critical, especially when dealing with large volumes of data. Even small mistakes can cause big issues in the FMCG sector.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Must Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word and database management systems.
- Familiarity with ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or specialized FMCG platforms can be crucial.
- Understanding of data entry techniques and the importance of data security.
- **Organizational Skills**:

- Ability to handle large datasets, prioritize tasks, and maintain an organized workflow.
- **Speed & Efficiency**:

- Data entry operators are expected to work quickly while ensuring accuracy, particularly in a fast-paced environment like FMCG.
