Leads business-focused, enterprise level, architecture-driven pre-sales and delivery consulting engagements. This is senior-level consulting professional and an acknowledged authority within the business/IT community. Collaborates with business/IT customer executive stakeholders, partners, and Oracle sales and consulting leadership teams to drive alignment of customer's business strategy and objectives using Oracle IT architecture, products and services. Proposes innovative solutions that maximize the customer's Oracle investment and drives customer value; influences customer's IT strategy, roadmap, and business/IT solutions.
- Architect and design comprehensive Payment solutions that meet business and continuous compliance requirements
- Add clarity to business requirements; challenge business requirements and demands, to ensure high quality solutions are created
- Think outside of the box to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request
- Partner with key roles to create solutions that are aligned with architecture principles and leverage common solutions and services
- Keep track together with the team on new trends and technology within the Payments area
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems
- Translate gaps between current state of payment landscape and strategy into a project plan/roadmap
- Contribute to overall payment architecture and design, working closely with the enterprise architect and product owner
- Create high level designs for end-to-end solution, get it reviewed and approved by appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Work with management to be part of, define and implement aspects of the strategy and vision for the payment domain
- Champion the vision and strategy with team and support decision making with the team

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in designing and/or building highly scalable and highly resilient global scale financial systems especially in Payments domain
- Specific hands-on knowledge of India NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, NACH Payments and Collections - from flows to validations to message formats to scalability considerations
- Experience with SWIFT, SFMS and Cross Border Remittances
- Specific experience and expertise in Payments reconciliation
- Excellent understanding of integration and implementation issues in payment systems and their architectural implications, and of best practices in architectural and design methods
- Experience in planning, estimating, staffing, organizing, and working on multiple projects
- Technical expertise in Java/J2EE, Webservices/REST/Micro services and Oracle (RDBMS) is a preference
- Knowledge of Application servers -WebLogic, MW/messaging - MQ/JMS/Oracle Service Bus
- Experience in Design and Code reviews is a preference
- Experience in Product Implementation and Support (end to end implementations preferred)
- Usage of tools for story boarding, screen mock-up, work-flow depiction
- Understanding of different project methodologies, project lifecycles, major phases, dependencies and milestones within a project, and the required documentation needs
