**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Registration**:

- Greet and welcome patients upon arrival.
- Register patients in the hospital system, ensuring accurate personal and medical details.
- Collect patient data and inform them of necessary documents required for consultation.
- **Appointment Scheduling**:

- Schedule and confirm appointments for consultations, tests, and follow-up visits.
- Coordinate with the medical team to ensure proper scheduling of patient visits.
- **Telephone Handling**:

- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information on services, procedures, and hospital policies.
- **Managing Patient Queries**:

- Provide general information about the hospital, its services, and any queries patients or visitors may have.
- Handle complaints or concerns with empathy and ensure appropriate resolution.
- **Billing and Payments**:

- Assist patients in understanding billing procedures.
- Process payment for services rendered (if applicable).
- **Administrative Support**:

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure they are updated regularly.
- Support the administrative team with filing, data entry, and other office tasks as required.
- **Coordination**:

- Liaise with other departments (medical, billing, lab, pharmacy) to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that the waiting area is tidy, organized, and comfortable for patients and visitors.
- **Compliance and Confidentiality**:

- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Ensure compliance with hospital regulations, standards, and safety procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- A bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields).
- Certification in Front Office Management or a similar field is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in a healthcare setting (1-2 years).
- **Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of hospital management software or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
