**Job Description**:
**Design Injection Molding Tooling **based on customer requirements
- Execute design work with attention to detail
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
- Participate in projects with regards to new product development and introduction
- Identify components that are required to be sourced externally and co-ordinate demands with purchasing
- Follow all company policies, procedures and guidelines take actions that support team work, safety, and
good housekeeping
- Modify existing tool designs and document changes
- Tool Design Engineers must ensure that project spending remains within budgeted guidelines
- May be required to provide external tool design engineering support to insure cost effective production of
products from all members of our vendor groups
- Plans, coordinates and performs designs for complex components and assemblies using the preferred 3
- Dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool and protocols
design work for complex 3D engineering models and components
- Creates Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabrication drawings, plan PCB projects and create electronic
schematic diagrams
- Understanding, performing, and verifying Drafter duties with mínimal guidance
- Communicating with Tech
- Must maintain a thorough knowledge of CAD including record maintenance, directory set-ups, and
training assistance
- Must maintain a high level of technical tooling and fixture knowledge
- Works with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and process, to coordinate design needs for
tool install packages, working independently to put together structural drawings to meet client needs
- Conducts field investigations as needed to verify existing conditions
- Manages and incorporates electronic redlines from the Structural Engineer using established workflows
- Takes complete ownership of their portion of the structural scope, reliably working to meet schedule,
budget, and quality requirements
