Design Engineer Position

The company is seeking a skilled Tool Design Engineer to join its team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and dies based on product requirements and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or Creo.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs meet functionality and quality standards.
  • Analyze existing tools and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification or training in CAD software and tool design is preferred.
  • 2–7 years of experience in tool design, preferably in automotive, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries.
Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
