Monitor and manage the chemistry of water used in boilers, cooling towers, and other systems.
- Ensure that water quality meets regulatory standards to prevent corrosion, scaling, and microbiological growth which can damage equipment and reduce efficiency.
- Responsible for treating boiler feedwater to prevent corrosion, scale formation, and carryover of impurities into steam.
- Involves selecting and dosing appropriate chemicals, monitoring water chemistry parameters, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee the treatment of cooling water to prevent fouling and corrosion in heat exchangers and cooling towers.
- May use chemicals such as biocides, corrosion inhibitors, and scale inhibitors to maintain optimal water quality.
- Analyze the quality of fuels used in power generation, such as coal, natural gas, or oil.
- Test for impurities, moisture content, calorific value, and other properties to ensure efficient combustion and minimize emissions.
- Monitor emissions from power plant operations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- May conduct emissions testing, analyze air and water samples, and develop strategies to minimize pollution.
- Manage the treatment and disposal of waste generated by power plant operations, such as ash, sludge, and chemical residues.
- Ensure that waste handling practices meet environmental standards and may explore opportunities for recycling or reuse.
- **Must have Power Plant Experience**

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
