About Credy
- Credy is a technology credit platform - we are building the operating system for financial services. We have built modular, plug-and-play APIs to help our partners underwrite and collect loans from end customers. In a highly credit underserved country with rapidly increasing smartphone adoption, we are enabling any company to become a fintech company through our suite of APIs and regulatory layer, and helping build customized financial products for "Middle India" and its 360 million customers - for consumption-based use cases, upskilling / education financing, medical financing, etc.

About Credy team
- We are a fast growing young team of 30 driven people with engineering, credit, banking, and data science backgrounds. Our founding team consists of ex Goldman Sachs investment bankers with 21+ years experience. Credy is a Y Combinator backed startup and has financial backing from other prominent Silicon Valley investors like Khosla Ventures, Vy Capital, and domestic investors like MAS Financial.

We are looking to add passionate Financial Interns to our growing team.

**Required Skills**:

- The Finance Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping, and assist with other accounting activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Handle vendor payments and keep track of the payments from vendors.
- Create invoices for vendors and maintain copies of such invoices digitally.
- Make TDS and PT payments from time to time.
- Assist in calculating Mutual Funds Gains from time to time.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Assist in generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
- Assist with financial audits, GST filing and RBI filing as and when required.

Qualifications:

- Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- This position requires visiting the office on a regular basis.
