L2 Server Administrator

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, maintain, and support Windows and/or Linux servers in an enterprise environment.
- Perform server installations, upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and user account administration.
- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure server security through updates, vulnerability scans, and compliance with policies.
- Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to prevent issues.
- Document server configurations, procedures, and changes.

**Requirements**:

- 5-6 years of experience in server administration, including Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- **Network Admins should be familiar with SEBI guidelines**:

- Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and server performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, CommVault).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
