L2 Database Administrator - Microsoft SQL Server
**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and integrity checks.
- Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations for performance.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage database security, including user roles and permissions.
- Support database deployment, migration, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve database-related challenges.
- Generate and analyse database performance reports.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with SQL Server monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
- Understanding of database security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
**Preferred Skills**:
**Exposure to cloud-based SQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL).**
**Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.**
**Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.**

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
