- Navi Mumbai**Experience Required**:

- 4-7 yrs- 1. Perform DR Drill activity as per requirement.
- 2. Perform reboot activity for each server on monthly basis
- 3. Database Migration like in place and side by side
- 4. Installation of MS-SQL Server of different version of servers.
- 5. Create SSRS report as per the client requirement
- 6. Create batch file, Powershell scripts for different SQL operation
- 7. Create mail alert for database monitoring purpose
- 8. Coordinate with client and solve SQL server database level issue and providing RCA and POA
- 9. Create Login and give permission for access the database.
- 10. Create weakly report and monthly ppt
- 11. Organise weakly review meeting between client and Project Manager also create minutes
- of meeting (MOM) report
- 12. Create automation scripts with HTML reports on production server and create mail alert
- for the same.
- 13. Handle L1 team members and assign task given by client also maintain shift roster for team.
- 14. Create store procedure and tune the query and give suggestion to developer for improve
- SQL performance.- Database Support team performs the day-to-day tasks as mentioned below
- Monitoring:
- Perform monitoring of all the critical parameters for the database such as:

- Table space, segment.
- Availability of background processes.
- Buffer cache utilization.
- Log contention.
- Resource intensive queries.
- Fragmentation of table spaces, tables and indexes.- Perform maintenance activities like index maintenance as per the Customer’s policy provided during transition
- o Memory for the RDBMSs
- Disk free space
- Alert logs for errors
- Database backup Logs
- Unsuccessful logins
- Indexing- Monitor system performance and provide performance data to Customer
- Availability monitoring
- DC and DR sync verification, if the sync check is automated (like sql log shipping and oracle data guard)
- Database Administration:
- Create, modify and delete database and database objects
- Create, modify and delete users and properties
- Create, modify and delete jobs
- Perform periodic database performance tuning as per the documented procedures
- Adhere to automated daily checklist for database maintenance as provided
- Perform maintenance activities like index maintenance as per the Customer’s policy provided during transition
- Perform orderly start-up and shutdown of database services
- Remote delivery team will take onsite DC operations support personnel (at the Customer’s data center ) help to Restore databases in the event of a server crash
- Add, modify and delete permissions to database objects and troubleshoot user logins
- Rectify database configuration problems
- Based on Customer’s policy provided during transition:

- Perform regular defragmentation activities for better space management and performance
- Grant and revoke database access to users
- Perform DR Drill and coordinate with all stakeholders.
- Housekeeping on DC / DR server
- cleaning up of Archive logs and Alert logs/transaction logs
- Data or database objects or any queries/stored procedures (trigger/function/package/procedure) related changes will not be part of infrastructure support of database
- Re-build DR in case of crash
- Always on experience.

- Manages the DR related change, incident and problem execution.
- Co-ordinate with Application support and WAN management team to perform switchover / failover and switchback / fallback activities as per defined scope once in a year
- Capture communication matrix and communication channel for DR declaration
- Consulting team will study the IT environment and understand current BCP process and create a detailed DR Run Book.
- Run book document will get updated every year based on changes
