Job Description - Product Designer - Design System

We're hiring a Product Designer who will focus on building and maintaining a design system for our products. You will help define, scale, and evolve the components and patterns that power our platform, ensuring design quality, consistency, and usability across all products. You'll work with designers, developers, and product managers to improve how our product looks and works for users across different products.

What You'll Do
1. Design System Development & Management
- Build and maintain a scalable design system which will be used across multiple products and use cases.
- Work closely with developers to make sure everything is implemented correctly.
- Define design tokens, components, patterns, and documentation to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain accessibility standards, responsive behavior, and visual coherence across platforms.
- Write clear guidelines for how to use these components.
- Keep the design system updated as our product grows.

2. Responsive & Native Mobile Design
- Design for a variety of screen sizes and devices—desktop, tablet, mobile web, and native mobile apps (iOS/Android).
- Ensure seamless, performant experiences across devices and platforms.

3. Interaction Design & Usability
- Conduct UI audits to identify areas of inconsistency. Design for adaptability across devices, user roles, and technical environments.

4. User Research & Prototyping
- Partner with product and research teams to understand user behaviors, workflows, and pain points in critical industrial domains.
- Build wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups that solve real-world problems.
- Use data and feedback from usability testing to iterate and refine design decisions.

5. Collaboration & Strategy
- Actively contribute to product discussions and help shape the design roadmap.
- Share knowledge and mentor other designers on design system usage and best practices.

What We're Looking for:
1.

**Required Skills**:

- 7+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms and atleast 2+ years building design system.
- Strong experience in design systems—you've built or maintained a system and have work to show.
- Expert-level skills in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens, variables, design system principles.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, layout systems, and visual design, Strong interaction design skill.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and how to design for inclusive experiences.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Demonstrated portfolio that includes design system work, high-quality interface design, and interaction design examples.

2. Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with front-end tech: HTML, CSS, and React components.
- Have experience in tools like Adobe Suite, Rive, Lottie, or similar tools.
- Experience with component libraries like Material UI, Ant Design, or custom systems.

Exposure to industrial domains or AI-driven products.
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
