The **RMC Plant Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing the operations of a ready-mix concrete plant, ensuring the smooth production of concrete while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the plant adheres to company policies and regulatory standards.
- **Education**: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields is preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in managing operations in an RMC plant or similar manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Management**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the ready-mix concrete plant.
- Ensure the production of high-quality concrete in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the production schedule based on demand and orders.
- Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Troubleshoot any operational issues related to the plant machinery and production processes.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by staff.
- Ensure the plant complies with local environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct safety training and maintain records of training sessions.
- Regularly inspect equipment and plant facilities to prevent accidents and hazards.
- **Maintenance and Equipment Management**:

- Oversee routine maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Manage the inventory of materials used in production, including cement, aggregates, and additives.
- Schedule and oversee the maintenance of batching plants, mixers, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and lead plant operators, truck drivers, and other staff members.
- Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and provide guidance to staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor the quality of the concrete mix and ensure it meets the required specifications.
- Perform regular tests on the concrete to ensure it adheres to strength and consistency standards.
- Address and resolve any quality control issues that arise during production.
- **Inventory and Material Management**:

- Oversee the procurement and storage of raw materials.
- Ensure materials are available for production without excess stockpile.
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels and place orders for materials when necessary.
- **Customer Coordination**:

- Communicate with customers regarding their requirements, delivery schedules, and any specific requests.
- Resolve customer complaints related to product quality or delivery issues.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed records of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on plant performance to management.
- Maintain records of employee hours, work completed, and any incidents or accidents.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
