Plant Incharge

The **RMC Plant Incharge** is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of a Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. This includes managing production, quality control, maintenance, inventory, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in the operation of a Ready Mix Concrete plant, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in managing plant teams, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring product quality.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in safety management or plant operations are a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of RMC plant operations, including batching, mixing, and delivery systems.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining plant machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and industry standards for concrete production.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools.

**Plant Operations Management**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the RMC plant, ensuring timely production and delivery of concrete.
- Supervise the batching, mixing, and delivery processes to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Plan and schedule production to meet client demand and deadlines.

2. **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that the concrete produced meets the required quality standards as per customer and project specifications.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures in the mixing process to prevent issues such as segregation or improper consistency.
- Conduct routine checks on raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures) and finished products.

3. **Inventory and Material Management**:

- Manage and monitor the inventory of raw materials, including cement, aggregates, and admixtures, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Implement systems to minimize wastage and optimize the use of materials.

4. **Maintenance & Equipment Management**:

- Ensure that all plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and batching machines, are functioning properly and are well-maintained.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance of plant machinery and equipment to avoid downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to equipment or machinery.

5. **Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure the plant adheres to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, ensuring employees wear the proper safety gear and follow safety protocols.
- Monitor environmental regulations related to emissions, waste management, and noise control, ensuring the plant is compliant.

6. **Team Supervision & Management**:

- Supervise and manage plant operators, workers, and support staff.
- Provide training on plant operations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Monitor staff performance and resolve any issues related to work ethics, performance, or discipline.

7. **Client Coordination**:

- Coordinate with clients for delivery schedules, project requirements, and any special requests.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns related to concrete quality or delivery.
- Ensure timely delivery of concrete to various job sites and manage any issues that may arise during transit.

8. **Production Planning & Reporting**:

- Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Monitor plant performance, including production output, downtime, and quality standards.
- Maintain records of production quantities, delivery schedules, and any quality control issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on plant operations, productivity, and resource utilization.

9. **Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Monitor and control operational costs to ensure the plant operates within budgetary constraints.
- Identify areas where cost-saving measures can be implemented without compromising quality or safety.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for plant operations and capital expenditures

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
