A Water Treatment Site Incharge is responsible for the overall management, operation, and maintenance of a water treatment facility. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality water by supervising daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, and maintaining accurate records. The position demands leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily plant operations including treatment processes and equipment usage.- Monitor and ensure water quality meets all regulatory standards through testing and analysis.- Train, supervise, and support plant operators, enforcing safety and operational procedures.- Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.- Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and compliance records.- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and prepare reports as needed.- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to optimize plant performance.- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines.- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant efficiency.
**Qualification**:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.- Experience in water treatment plant operations or utility management.- Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.- Knowledge of water quality standards and environmental regulations.- Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.- Ability to interpret operational data and implement solutions.- Proficiency in documentation and compliance reporting.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
