**Position name: Lighting Designer**

**Location: Bangalore (Kamakshipalya)**

**Requisites**:

- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Lighting Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects (interior/exterior, residential/commercial).
- Expertise in 3D rendering software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or equivalent.
- Excellent ability to create and deliver accurate lighting design quotations, managing budgets and cost estimates.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and design-related software.
- Ability to think creatively while maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and codes related to lighting design.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with energy-efficient lighting systems or sustainable design principles.
- Knowledge of advanced lighting control systems and automation.
- Project management experience and familiarity with timelines and client management.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Lighting Design**:

- Develop and create innovative lighting designs for both interior and exterior spaces across various projects (residential, commercial, events, etc.).
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver lighting solutions that align with their vision and functional needs.
- Ensure designs adhere to local regulations and safety standards.
- **3D Rendering**:

- Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations of lighting designs to present to clients and stakeholders.
- Use software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or other relevant design tools) to create realistic lighting effects and environments.
- Modify and refine renderings based on feedback to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- **Quotations and Budgeting**:

- Prepare accurate and detailed lighting design quotations for materials, equipment, and installation services.
- Collaborate with the procurement and project management teams to ensure all aspects of the lighting design are costed effectively and within budget.
- Track project costs and assist in maintaining financial control throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- **Project Management Support**:

- Support the project team in the installation and execution of the lighting design, ensuring designs are faithfully translated into reality.
- Provide technical support during installation and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain clear documentation of designs, changes, and project status.
- **Client Communication**:

- Present design proposals and renderings to clients in a professional manner, articulating design concepts and technical solutions.
- Manage client expectations and provide updates on the progress of lighting designs and quotations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
