**Lighting Design Manager**

**Job Summary**

The Lighting Design Manager oversees and guides the Lighting Design Executives, ensuring that all lighting design projects meet technical, aesthetic, and functional requirements. This role involves managing high-value projects, client interactions, production sheet approvals, and supporting IoT-based projects. The manager is the key decision-maker for project escalations, design approvals, and maintaining quality standards while fostering collaboration across teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1.** **Leadership and Supervision**:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the Lighting Design Executives, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Review and approve designs, simulations, BOQs, and technical documentation prepared by the team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project timelines.

**2.** **Production Sheet Approval**:

- Oversee and personally handle **production sheet approvals** for high-value or critical projects.
- Ensure all production details meet client requirements, technical standards, and project deliverables.

**3.** **Client and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for architects, project managers, and clients on high-value projects.
- Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and address technical concerns.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

**4.** **IoT and Advanced Projects**:

- Take ownership of IoT-based and technologically advanced lighting projects.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate IoT solutions into lighting designs.
- Stay updated on smart lighting trends and provide innovative solutions for complex projects.

**5.** **High-Value and Complex Projects**:

- Personally manage high-value and technically demanding projects, ensuring successful execution.
- Provide strategic direction for project planning, design, and implementation.

**6.** **Technical Oversight**:

- Review and guide the preparation of **Dialux reports, TDS, BOQs, and lighting layouts**.
- Ensure all designs are compliant with industry standards, energy efficiency regulations, and sustainability principles.

**7.** **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of design and documentation.
- Conduct final checks on project deliverables to ensure accuracy and excellence.

**8.** **Team Development and Training**:

- Identify skill gaps within the team and arrange training sessions to enhance competencies.
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning.
