Job Title: Lighting Designer

Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Lighting Designer to develop and

implement lighting plans for a wide range of environments, including architectural spaces,

for design, excellent technical knowledge of lighting systems, and the ability to translate

concepts into captivating visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design lighting concepts that enhance the visual impact of architectural spaces,

events, or stage productions.
- Create lighting plots, fixture layouts, and system specifications using CAD software

and other design tools.
- Collaborate with architects, set designers, event producers, or directors to understand

and achieve project vision.
- Program lighting consoles and coordinate equipment setup and operation during

rehearsals, installations, or live events.
- Conduct site visits, mockups, and lighting tests to ensure design feasibility and

performance.
- Manage technical requirements, budgets, and schedules for lighting installations.
- Specify appropriate lighting equipment, control systems, and rigging solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Supervise or coordinate with lighting technicians and installation teams.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Theatre, Architecture, Engineering, or a related

field.
- Proven experience in lighting design for [theatre/architecture/live

events/film—customize as needed].
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, WYSIWYG,

DIALux, or similar.
- Experience with lighting control systems (e.g., ETC, GrandMA, DMX, DALI).
- Strong understanding of color theory, light behavior, and photometrics.
- Excellent communication, time management, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,270.09 - ₹52,801.18 per month
