**Your Primary Responsibilities**:

- Understands Agile and relevant frameworks (e.g., scrum) to maximize the success of the squad.
- Ability to track and remove impediments.
- Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum processes.
- Ability to shield team from outside distractions and interferences.
- Radiates information between squad and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Assists team or individuals to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
- Knowledge of other agile methodologies and frameworks like Kanban
- Effective communicator with the ability to maintain a cohesive team.
- Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
- Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures
- Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
- Ability to take and understand commitments to deliver projects on time.
- Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
- Experience using Jira or similar tool for managing Sprints and User Stories.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums sessions to ensure the Squad and the others in the Tribe are aligned on priorities, dependencies, and timelines.
- **Coaching and Facilitation**:

- Provide role (PO, QA, Dev, etc.) based coaching and proactively facilitate coaching session with the squad.
- Coach the squad to consider how squad/product vision affects other squads we regularly interact with.
- Coach PO and squad to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog with refined user stories.
- Create a safe environment for all ceremonies to encourage active participation from all squad members.
- Coach the squad to provide input for squad level decision making to achieve a common goal.
- Coach squad with knowledge and expertise as well as encourage experimentation to support their journey towards self-sufficiency.
- Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Facilitate and mediate conflicts within the squad.
- **Reporting**:

- Ensure accurate and transparent communications to stakeholders with concise metrics and updates on progress, risks, and impediments.
- **Release Planning**:

- Supports Product Owner on release planning.
- Coordinate movement of code between Development, Testing, UAT and Production environments and a related planning, resourcing, and scheduling activities.
- **Project Management and Project Planning**:

- Managing and delivering projects to specification using a defined development process and delivering within budget and timeline
- Proficiency in estimation and planning
- Build meaningful relationships with squad members and resolve most issues leveraging your rapport and trust with squad members.
- Be an enthusiastic change agent and peer.
- Accept change and use it to drive continuous learning and process improvements within the squads.
- Continuously seek and act on feedback received to bring about positive changes. Servant Leadership
- Understand both the **squad’s overall capacity** and impediments that impact individual members of the squad. Work to create a team culture that values sustainable execution by not **over-committing**.
- Identify and work to resolve mindset impediments as they arise.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

**Talents Needed for Success**:

- Experience in Agile Development, with Scrum Master (or similar) experience.
- Previous software development lifecycle experience
- Scrum Master certification a plus

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
