Key Responsibilities:

- **Accounting & Bookkeeping**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Track and record all business transactions (income, expenses, payments, receipts) into Zoho Accounting Software.
- **GST & TDS Compliance**:

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
- Ensure compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) provisions, including preparation, filing, and reporting of TDS returns.
- Maintain records for tax payments, GST calculations, and ensure timely submission of GST and TDS-related documents.
- **Retail Sector Accounting**:

- Manage the financial activities specific to the retail industry, such as inventory management, stock reconciliation, and sales transactions.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Handle cash management, sales receipts, and bank transactions for the retail sector.
- **Reconciliation**:

- Perform regular bank, cash, and vendor account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
- Resolve discrepancies between accounts promptly.
- **Tax Filing & Documentation**:

- Support in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other regulatory filings.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit purposes and maintain all records in compliance with applicable laws.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and performance analysis to assist management in decision-making.
- Generate reports from Zoho Accounting software for various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proficient in **Zoho Accounting Software** for managing financial records and transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of **GST** and **TDS regulations**.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.

Skills and Competencies:

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset to identify financial discrepancies and suggest improvements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle financial data with integrity.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of the retail industry and associated financial processes.
- Certification or training in GST or TDS.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
