Shift Incharge

**Job Purpose**:
To supervise and manage all production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring that biscuit production meets the required quality, quantity, and safety standards. The role includes manpower handling, monitoring machine operation, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the entire biscuit production process during the shift — mixing, forming, baking, cooling, and packing.
- Monitor shift-wise production targets and ensure timely completion with mínimal wastage.
- Ensure all machines (rotary, oven, packing, etc.) are operating efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Allocate and manage manpower across departments (mixing, rotary, oven, packing) for smooth operations.
- Maintain product quality standards by coordinating with the Quality Control (QC) team.
- Record shift-wise production data, downtime, manpower deployment, and material usage.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of raw materials as per batch requirements.
- Maintain workplace hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and follow food safety norms (FSSAI compliant).
- Train and guide workers/operators on standard procedures and safety.
- Coordinate with other shift in-charges for proper handover and production continuity.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth understanding of biscuit manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for production equipment.
- Good communication and record-keeping abilities.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Food Technology / Mechanical / Electrical or related.
- Experience: 2-5 years in biscuit or FMCG food production (rotary/oven/packing units preferred).
- Experience at similar roles in bakery/biscuit companies is an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
