Home Vaccination Doctor

**Job Summary**:
The Home Vaccination Doctor (MBBS) is responsible for leading the administration of vaccinations to adults and children in a home healthcare setting. In addition to vaccination duties, this role involves assessing patient vitals, providing pre and post-vaccination consultations, and performing administrative tasks to facilitate home vaccination services. The Doctor must ensure strict adherence to all relevant rules and regulations governing vaccinations in India.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Vaccination Administration**:

- Administer vaccines to adults and children following standard vaccination protocols and guidelines.
- Verify patient information, allergies, and medical history before vaccine administration.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of vaccines in accordance with Indian regulations.
- Properly dispose of medical waste associated with vaccination procedures.

**2. Patient Assessment**:

- Conduct pre-vaccination assessments, including taking and recording patient vitals (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate).
- Evaluate patients for contraindications or potential adverse reactions to vaccines.
- Monitor patients for immediate post-vaccination reactions and provide necessary care.

**3. Pre and Post-Vaccination Consultation**:

- Educate patients and caregivers about the importance of vaccinations, vaccine schedules, and potential side effects.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns related to vaccinations.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to manage post-vaccination symptoms or side effects.

**4. Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vaccination details, medical history, and vital signs.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for vaccination documentation in India.
- Document and report adverse events as per regulatory guidelines.

**5. Administrative Duties**:

- Coordinate with healthcare agencies and patients to schedule vaccination appointments.
- Ensure the availability of necessary vaccination supplies and equipment.
- Manage inventory of vaccines and medical supplies and initiate reordering when necessary.
- Process and maintain accurate billing and insurance documentation in compliance with Indian healthcare regulations.

**6. Safety and Infection Control**:

- Strictly adhere to infection control protocols to prevent disease transmission and maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Follow safety and occupational health guidelines in accordance with Indian healthcare regulations.

**7. Compliance**:

- Stay updated on the latest vaccination guidelines and recommendations issued by the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to vaccinations.

**Qualifications**:

- MBBS degree and a valid State/Medical Council of India (MCI) registration.
- Proven experience in vaccination administration and patient care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vaccination schedules and protocols in India.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide patient education.
- Attention to detail and proficient record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate empathy, and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records.

**Working Conditions**:

- The Home Vaccination Doctor will primarily work in patients' homes and may require travel to various locations.
- The Doctor may need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on patient needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: ₹15,012.84 - ₹20,000.00 per month
