Department- Information Technology- Location- Mumbai- Number of Positions- 1- Reporting Relationships- Senior Vice President- Position Grade- Chief Manager / AVP- Drive Audit within the IT function for Vendors and Process incl. Material vendors and third parties.
- For all vendors and key processes, drive overall governance incl. audit schedules, checklist, reviewing audit work content and monitor timelines. Support Audit planning, monitoring and execution on behalf of Technology team and Auditees for Vendor and process related Audit
- Maintan oversight incl. monitoring and response review of key audit observations and driving closures. Effectively prepare summaries of audit reports and communicate audit findings to appropriate auditee levels
- Develop review and analyze the ongoing effectiveness of all Vendor and Process audit observations and recommending changes and improvements as appropriate
- Conduct and/or assist with special projects; Assist Regulatory/Statutory Auditors audits and handle auditee questions and inquiries.
- Examine and evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of the internal control systems.
- Perform test on both the functioning of specific internal control procedures and transactions. Proficiency in designing checklist / controls self-assessment and gap analysis
- Review of the evidences to ensure that Audit observations and conclusions are well documented.
- Drive awareness in education and overall efficacy of Audit across IT team.
- Strong academic credentials, with a CA / CISA / CRISC professional with Strong knowledge in specific area(s) such as compliance, Information Systems Technology, Finance Operations, etc.
- Minimum of five years internal auditing or comparable work related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures and practices in the areas assigned; with sufficient knowledge of laws and regulations governing banks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well
- structured communications to senior management
