**Role Description**

Technology
Procurement Specialist (IT products and services)

**Responsibility**

Performing end to end IT (PR to
Payment) procurement activities for the entire organization (TCE and
Subsidiaries)

Demand Management - Capturing the requirements of various
Business Units and Corporate functions.

Research IT Products, Equipment and Software.

Prepare product/equipment/software specifications and BoQ.

Obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals
from vendors and contractors.

Techno-Commercial Evaluation

Organise and execute Commercial
Negotiation with vendors

Contract Drafting

Tracking of Delivery, Invoices,
Payments.

Ensuring product/ service delivery
in tight timescales and deadlines

Ensuring legal and license compliance
of products/services used.

Annual IT Budgeting

Maintain and monitor detailed IT
Opex and Capex spend and baseline

Preparation of monthly provisions

Responsible for product support and warranties,
leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases,
and license information.

Responsible for timely renewal of product support and
warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts and licenses.

Maintain Inventory and Contract Data

Vendor Management

**Key Skills**

Experience of IT procurement for a
mid-sized organization

Demonstrable understanding and
knowledge of IT products and vendor marketplace

Strong attention to detail and
ability to produce accurate reporting.

Ability to negotiate and challenge
at all levels

Awareness of laws and regulatory
restrictions of hardware/software usage/EULA.

Awareness of tax structures for DTA,
SEZ, and Import procurements

Strong technical knowledge of
current and emerging IT products and services

Expertise in vendor management and
negotiations.

Ability to ensure product/ service
delivery in tight timescales and deadlines

Experience in SAP ERP system for
procurement
