**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the paper reel stock department, including overseeing inventory levels, stock rotation, and replenishment to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures, including receiving, storing, and issuing paper reel stock in accordance with established guidelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure paper reel stock, negotiate pricing, and maintain optimal stock levels to meet production demands.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for paper reel stock, including temperature and humidity control, to preserve quality and prevent damage.
- Monitor stock aging and initiate appropriate measures to minimize obsolete or expired inventory.
- Collaborate with production managers and schedulers to prioritize paper reel stock allocation based on production schedules and customer orders.
- Train and supervise store staff to ensure compliance with safety procedures, inventory protocols, and quality standards.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to optimize inventory management efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments, using inventory management software or manual systems.
- Prepare reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and purchasing trends for management review.
- Monitor industry trends and technological advancements in paper reel stock management to recommend and implement best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or printing environment with a focus on paper reel stock.
- Strong knowledge of paper reel stock characteristics, grades, and specifications.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems for tracking and managing stock levels.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory control.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
