**Department Description**
Process Simplification and Optimisation is a newly formed, dynamic and exciting multi-skilled team that uses a toolkit of process improvement, process orchestration, process automation and document digitisation solutions to address business problems, focussing on delivering value and achieving business driven outcomes.
- Deliver sustainable change across Fidelity by focusing on top down, strategic business priorities to maximise business and commercial value
- Empower and upskill internal teams to create sustainable capability, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement as part of new and improved ways or working
- Leverage an integrated operating model to work with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Shared Services with an objective to deliver better outcomes for the business and our customers
**Purpose of the Role**
As a member of the Process Simplification and Optimisation (PSO) team, this role will work to progress Fidelity’s agenda and embed innovation across the business, maintaining consistency and standards to maximise business benefits.
Specifically, this role will be responsible for defining and driving business process management data & reporting framework, approach and measures within PSO to turn data into meaningful information used to inform, educate, provide insights, make data actionable and support improvement plans, and therefore, requires a good understanding of business processes, trend analysis, tools such as BI and drive a business data mindset towards meaningful outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Business Process Information Management (framework, analytics, insights, governance, communications & dashboards)**
- Accountable for the delivery of process reporting for Run business, ensuring the report outputs are effective in supporting trend analysis, performance management and constructed to support utilisation of other licenses, improving value and reduces cost per transaction / volume of transactions.
- Responsible to define, design and manage RUN value based outcomes / reporting aligned to end to end PSO process lifecycle. Additionally, identify & define incremental value tracking and measures aligned with Run lead.
- Establishes a comprehensive reporting framework to track, measure and improve business operations, support and services. Form a communication plan and consistently story tell all key value outcomes of the Run Team
- Designing & analysing business insights requirements, data sources, systems and translate them into high quality dashboards for business & senior leads. Collate, compile, mine and present a broad range of data for internal/external purposes. Create relevant business oriented & simplified user-friendly visual depictions for the same
- Proactively collaborate with the wider teams to ensure both strategic and tactical changes are aligned to both PSO and wider business area requirements. Effective & proactive communications, engagement planning is crucial to business.
- Identify themes, process patterns & trends with data that need continuous improvements or highlights business risks or need further deep dive to build resilient capabilities
- Ensures the alignment of reporting framework across Adopt & Run processes, tools and business support monitoring frameworks including the recommendation of appropriate tool sets to ensure the reporting is effective and fit for purpose.
- Oversees the controls used to monitor functional performance of the reporting environment; support the identification of problems and support implementation of solutions; ensuring the reports are running effectively.
