**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair laptop motherboard issues, including power failures, short circuits, and component faults.
- Perform advanced SMD soldering to replace and repair surface-mount components on laptop motherboards and other circuit boards.
- Use diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to troubleshoot and identify faults at the component level.
- Repair and replace key laptop components, including RAM, SSD, displays, batteries, and other hardware parts as needed.
- Work with ESD-safe practices to protect sensitive electronic components during repairs.
- Document repair processes and keep detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and parts used.
- Provide clients with accurate estimates and updates on repair status.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, new repair techniques, and emerging hardware trends.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Certification in Computer Hardware Repair, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in laptop repair, with a strong focus on motherboard troubleshooting and SMD soldering.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in SMD soldering, de-soldering, and re-soldering techniques.
- Experience with diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of laptop hardware, including motherboards, power circuits, and component-level repair.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems for basic troubleshooting.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in electronics repair or specific OEM certifications (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo).
- Experience with data recovery and handling sensitive client data securely.
- Basic knowledge of ESD safety procedures.
