**What you will do -**
Support the Sales Managers and their sales teams
- Assisting the sales team with scheduling and booking meetings, and with any administrative help (being the «office hands» for field sales)
- Organize offsite/onsite team and client events
- Preparing international Gartner analysts visits (organizational admin support, travel support visa, hotel, taxi booking, etc and coordinate agenda with the Sales team
- Coordinate and manage communication and correspondence with local suppliers for events organization
- Support Sales team members with travel organization (in coordination with AMEX)
- Support new hire onboarding ( tools, setup, etc
- Assisting with the day to day running of the office and resolving ad hoc problems less relevant now
- Complete additional projects as assigned by management
Support for Regional Sales VP
- Driving program execution administration on key programs identified for the region this will include collating data for analysis ensuring PPT packs and other relevant communication (posters etc are prepared, and project manage against timelines drawn up
- Scheduling regular deal review boards and hackathons for all relevant BU’s
- Providing support with planning and executing marketing and internal communications activities (newsletters etc
Events organization support
- Help organize, co ordinate and manage local and occasionally international client events (internally externally)
- Internal communication keep all Sales team members up to date about briefings, events and analyst visits
- Prepare invitation for clients and internal associates in all sales events, briefings, summits, symposiums
- Proactive approach in gathering ideas demands from Sales Team member in local events
- Create and regularly update local events Calendar as for internal Sales team information, as externally, for clients
- Organize international Gartner analysts visits to our South African offices from request to feedback provision after the successful visit (organizational admin support, travel support visa, hotel, taxi booking, etc managing analyst agenda in Johannesburg, support local guidance, managing venue and suppliers, collection of feedbacks from clients sale team members)
Strategic Planning Marketing support
- Work with Gartner’s Global PR and Marketing team in regards with the local Sales organization’s requests and activities
- Ensure sales teams are being provided with marketing materials issued by the regional Marketing team
- Manage Media list and target top journalists
- Support Sales Manager with strategic planning of marketing actions (support with regular update and enlargement of prospects database, helping with research and collaboration with respective global team)
Support New hire onboarding
- Ensure new hires provide all relevant document as part of their onboarding
- Ensure they have access to financial and medical aid advisors for any questions re their selection before they join
- Assist with flight requests for relevant dates
- Ensure hotel bookings done by Academy registrar
- Ensure laptop and other relevant equipment is ordered and set up
- Ensure Amex card has been applied for
