F&B Controller

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Control**: Monitor and analyze all food and beverage costs, ensuring they align with budgets and forecasts. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage and control the inventory of food and beverage items, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained. Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present detailed financial reports related to F&B operations, including cost variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- **Vendor Management**: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Monitor vendor performance and evaluate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- **Advanced Excel Analysis**: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create financial models, and support decision-making processes. Develop and maintain databases, pivot tables, and charts for various financial metrics.
- **Compliance & Auditing**: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions, inventory, and cost control processes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the culinary team, procurement, and finance departments to optimize food and beverage costs and processes. Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously review and enhance financial and inventory management processes to drive operational excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in F&B cost control, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and financial software is a plus.
